Not that this fits perfectly into this blog, but with the recent Federal Election it’s kinda floating around in my consciousness. A good friend of mine pointed me in the direction of an elegant website which helps to explain political slants and ideas a little better. The site also has the benefit of assisting you to understand yourself better. This really is the concept at the heart of good communication and language; if you can understand yourself well, you will be ideally placed to express yourself well. The website has a questionaire with a series of basic questions. At the end of the survey your political ideals will be plotted on a graph. You can then see what kind of political party you really should be voting for – ie the best representation of your political ideas and beliefs. I found it very illuminating.
